How did scrimmages go?

August 17th is the JJ Kelly, William Campbell, Lebanon, and Burton Jamboree.

Dang! I'll be at the PV jamboree (or wherever it's at) so I won't be able to make it to that one. It should be pretty cool, though. I've never seen a team as impressive as William Campbell in person!

If you saw the 2006 JI Burton Raiders you saw a team as impressive as William Campbell.

Thats right without a doubt in my mind if the ref doesnt throw the flag after the td we go for two and ethan runs it in.Then we hold them when they get the ball.Burton raiders 14-0 state champs if not for that stupid ref.

The QB sneak wasnt going to be the call, straight from the horses mouth.

You are correct my friend.

At any rate, William Campbell didn't advance to the state championship game whereas JI Burton did.

Now, WC has had some awesome teams in the last five years, with two state championships to prove it. They may have re-grouped and be the team to beat again in Group A this year. I hope to see the jamboree.

Have any of you guys read the articles written about the WC-Riverheads game. WC dominated Riverheads and turned around and gave up 21 points on freak plays late in the game...Riverheads barely beat em...and prolly shouldn't have.

Yes I've read about the game.

Not to take anything away from either team, but its not necessarily the team the plays the best in the first or second quarter of the game that comes out the winner. To say that a team didn't beat another team but should have is not much different than saying, "yep they may have won but we were the better team."
